Jacory plays great and leads the 'Canes to victory!!! 21-20 in South Beach.
Harris' Line: 19/28, 202 yds, 3 td, 2 int
My Prediction: 20/33, 241 yds, 2 td, 1 int
Jacory Harris is no longer on notice and gets a one week reprieve for his performance against the mighty Sooners this past weekend.
After throwing two interceptions early and falling into a 10-0 hole, Harris settled down and lead his team to a comback victory 21-20. And here's the craziest part, what was my score prediction? 24-20. Is this the apex of my football prognostication abilities? I sure hope not, but they are pretty darn good if I dont say so myself. Given the difficulty of predicting somebody's exact stats and the exact score of a game I was about as spot on as you can get. Seroiously, this is like someone put your mortgage payment on 17 red knowing your wife will divorce you and take the kids if you lose but if you win then you can pay off your house completely...and you hit it. This is the epicness of my prediction. The only reason Miami did not score a field goal at the end of the game (they were in range) is because if I would have predicted the exact score it may have cause the unverse to implode on itself. And that's not good for anybody.
Harris put himself back into the running for the Heisman and Miami has climbed back to the point where if they win out a National Championship appearance is a possibility. Harris showed great resiliency and leadership to lead his team to victory on Saturday the schedule only gets easier from here. Should be a fun season.
The swagger from "the U" is back, only with stand up Randy Shannon running the program it is not longer the "7th floor crew" "muddin'" chicks, it is more like the "1st floor, handicap accessible crew that takes ladies out for nice seafood dinners, holds the door open, AND calls them back." Well done cleaning up the program Randy Shannon.
(Seriously though, look at how close my prediction was, I am amazed at my own abilities...I should write for ESPN)
