Recently ESPN came out with their preseason first team All-America team. What comes as no surprise is the presence of C Cole Aldrich and G Sherron Collins.
Both Players have already paved their way to the NBA and their stock will only continue to rise the more success KU has this season. 6'11" Aldrich just may be the best big man in the country, leading the way for KU's talented, deep frontcourt.
Collins may be able to make the same claim for the point guard position. Collins is the unquestioned leader on a team that has as much determination as it does talent and youth. Not only is Collins a great leader but he just may be the best one in the country, and with all the depth and talent on this team a leader is exactly what they will need.
I can hardly contain my excitement for this season and this only goes to make me even more excited. A good season hopefully awaits.
