The Kansas Jayhawks survived an onslaught of sharpshooting form Purdue led by Super Senior Robbie Hummel. The Boilermakers came out throwing haymakers and the Jayhawks seemed lost. This was exactly the type of game that KU had lost in the past but they reversed the script this time around. "Survive and Advance" is the mantra, but this team has been living that in their careers ever since arriving at KU. The Ashes cricket series between England and Australia has always been packed with incident, both of the sporting kind and some of the more controversial. I guess that's what makes it such compelling viewing for sports fans.
