Man-crush update: Jacory Harris and the 'Canes get "crushed" by Va-Tech

"I take all the blame for what happened tonight" - Jacory Harris

After climbing into the top ten and garnering all the praise and Heisman hype you possibly could Jacory Harris and the Miami Hurricanes went into Blacksburg, VA and straight up laid a big fat egg right there on the field against the Hokies.

Here was Harris' line for the game: 9/25, 150 yds, 0 td, 1 int, 4 rushes, -28 rush yds....not encouraging.

Every year, a team will come out the gate firing on all cylinders and get a ton of hype, especially after a couple of big upsets, hopefully this team is not the Canes this year.  It was a downpour in Virgina, with the constant rain no doubt affecting the game.  However, I have never been one to buy too much into that, a performer that can perform at such a high level should find a way to be successful no matter what the circumstance.

The pressure that was supposed to be nonexistent from the Hokies was there early and often causing Harris to make multiple mistakes including fumbles and interceptions.  There were few bright spots in this game for the talented Harris.  Dealing with pressure he had not seen up this point in the season, it was difficult for him to set up and make the throws he was accustomed to making in his previous games.

Not much to say about this one, a poor performance by the "man-crush."  In fact, all nominees save for one played poorly and their teams lost, only the least vote getter Tate Forcier played well and lead his team to victory...Jacory Harris...you are on notice.
